Hyung S. Kim is a graduate of Liaoning University (辽宁中医药大学), China's Top 5 University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After receiving his doctorate in Internal Medicine of TCM, he served as Professor at Southern California University, School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.

He has earned wide recognition from the Sino-American Rehabilitation Medical Association and the Farida Bolden, USA. He has also served as the Director of the National Alliance of Korean Asian Medicine. Through these organizations, he strongly advocates integrative medicine.
